A shorter day of Adirondack Loj, but lots of blowdown, but with the drought all the water crossings were trivial and while there is some challenging route-finding it’s not a difficult one. Street doesn’t offer a view at all, but you do get a bit of one from Nye. I recommend doing Street first and then Nye.
This is probably one you’ll want to avoid during shoulder and mud season as the water crossings will be deep with rushing water that you’re really not going to want to cross. As it was this was a very nice day; a bit warm but thankfully the only place along the trail with any bugs at all was the area around the beaver dam, and keeping this in mind you’re going to want to be extra careful filtering your water if you’re below the dam at all.
